I write, research and edit web content that help educate people and promote products and services on the Internet. I do mostly online work because I like working with technical, geeky computer stuff.
My first formal job (as opposed to gigs, and they were plenty) was as an editorial assistant for a now discontinued online car magazine. Between then and now, I spent about 3 years in another universe, speaking an exotic language of “AHTs,” “QAs” and “CSats.” Good thing, though, because I learned much about how to provide great customer service and why businesses need to meet targets.
I studied Communication Research and Journalism in college—where I also signed up for some very unrelated subjects such as Interior Design 101. Frankly, I should have been better off pursuing a Fine Arts course. But I chose to drift, and what a long drifting it was.
I only started blogging for real after Holy Week this year so be patient with me. Aside from my job to learn what the blog hype is about, I also wanted to displace the words and images crammed in my head. Too much of them is toxic.
I could’ve been blogging much earlier, if only I wasn’t a certified O.C. (guess how many times I edited this blog!).
